Media Preparator cum Autoclave
The EQUITRON media preparator is a boon to any laboratory. It is basically an autoclave with special features for handling of liquid media, agar, broth, or any other media. The media is poured directly into a special container in the autoclave, which also has a magnetic stirrer. The media mixes in this, the temperature rises to a user-settable sterilizing temperature, holds for the desired time, then cools rapidly to the media pouring temperature between 45°C & 65°C; and then, without opening the autoclave, the desired volume of media can be dispensed directly onto petri plates � placed in a clean bench � by an external peristaltic pump and all this, while constant stirring of the media is taking place to prevent solidification. This entire process is automatic. The user has to just feed in parameters as per his requirement.

Teflon stirring rod connected with two vertical teflon rod for efficient stirring.
